Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a Group Sales Coordinator to join the hotel's opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. Opening in late 2024, the property boasts 287 guestrooms including 34 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who's who of Miami. Position Summary The Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting our Group Sales Managers in optimizing revenue and group bookings.A full knowledge of hotel accommodations and amenities is vital in order to exceed the expectations of our group guests and create a positive guest impression.This position requires the Colleague to retain learned technical skills to communicate efficiently, complete group reservations and run daily reports. Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions Represent Andaz Miami Beach by answering phone calls and offering information for group accommodations. Handle inquiries from potential group meeting planners about meeting spaces, accommodations and event bookings. Coordinate the booking process for meetings, events and accommodations. Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular communication, providing personalized service that addresses requests and needs Assist the Group Sales Managers with site inspections when needed. Utilize sales training techniques to provide the best call quality possible to ensure the maximization of revenue and guest service. Generates additional guest interest in all hotel amenities and outlets to assist in achieving ancillary revenue goals and enhance guest vacation experience. Maintains a strong familiarity of hotel and the Miami Beach area. Remain up-to-date on all hotel offerings, promotions and changes in policies and procedures. Strong ability to multi-task when needed as well as efficiency in the operating of multiple computer programs at a given time Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
