Chemical compounder

Do you enjoy hands on work and have an eye for detail? We are looking for a Chemical Compounder to work in a warehouse located on the Southside of Jacksonville. The Chemical Compounder is responsible for weighing and mixing raw materials to create finished products according to the batch sheets. We are looking for candidates with great attendance, great attitudes, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.salary: $17 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Cleaning all equipment, tanks, and vessels as neededObserve and follow safety procedures and SOP's set by the companyRefer all issues to the lead/supervisorChemical InventoryAssist in trasfer of product to the lineTransfer finished product into drums and totes to complete ordersWeigh chemicals for batchingSet up and monitor all mixing tanks, vessels, and mixersObtain and understand all documentation for batching productsOperate all equipment including tanks, mixers, scales, meters, pumps, etcComplete all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely mannerSubmit finished product samples to the lab for approvalCommunicate with production when batches are complete and ready to fillMonitor all temperatures on batches that require heating and coolingVerify raw chemical usage on each batch are added correctly with correct weightsAble to work with limited supervision The essential functions of this role include: wearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 10 hours at one time Skills Basic Computer SkillsBatching (1 year of experience is required)Blending (1 year of experience is required) Qualifications Years of experience: 1 yearExperience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
