Overview OVERVIEW OF POSITION: Under direct supervision of the VP, Experience and Service Excellence, is passionate about the associate experience focusing on assisting in development, planning and execution of a full suite of engagement touch-points including post-employment on-boarding, associates events and activities, Associate Affinity Groups, associate recognition programs, and other employee related projects and initiatives. Additionally, the role collaborates on content creation, acts as an ESSC ambassador, leads action planning sessions post-survey, and ensures alignment with research and trends in associate experience. Grounded in the culture of Easterseals Southern California, will support the translation of our mission, vision, and values across the organization supporting leaders and associates. Starting Salary Range: 120k - $144k / yr. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supports the development of a full cycle performance management process and the execution and management of the organizational engagement survey and listening strategies that incorporates touch-points through surveys, engagement, on-boarding, exit and ad-hoc pulses at key milestones in the employee life-cycle. Supports the design and management of organizational surveys and engagement strategies to enhance the associate, participant, and community partner experience. Ensures ESSC leaders have a comprehensive understanding through data informed means on the associate experience from on-boarding to exit; Provides ESSC leaders with data-driven insights on the associate experience life-cycle and establishes performance standards to evaluate participant experiences, fostering relationships with community groups, driving associate involvement, and building a culture of belonging through engagement and wellbeing strategies. Assists with the development of implementing and managing an employee recognition program designed to increase engagement and retention. Defines and tracks engagement metrics that support the performance of the organization and ensure that critical roles are defined. Develops relationships with external populations including, professional groups, cultural, artistic, intergenerational, and other groups within the community at large that can provide resources to enhance engagement program. Utilizes data to support business departments and service line leaders in making informed decisions. Conducts and support projects to increase associate involvement and motivation. Builds strong relationships with the managers and associates to act as a strong liaison. Sustains a culture of belonging and connection by development and execution of strategy for associate engagement and wellbeing. Including monthly team events, employee recognition, volunteer opportunities, and benefits, while keeping a beat on emerging employee trends. Works with Internal Communication to create content for supporting ESSC leaders in establishing and sustaining focused strategies to increase associate engagement. Acts as an ambassador for ESSC internally and externally including partnerships across service lines and business departments, funding sources, and Talent Acquisition when necessary to attend events and career fairs. Leads action planning sessions for the leaders across the organization following each survey, focusing on results and culture change. Leads the development and execution of associate engagement programs and fosters the company's culture ensuring all initiatives/activities are promoted and delivered. Fosters a culture of associate engagement and recognition through initiatives promoting satisfaction, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging. Understanding of current research, market recommendations and considerations pertaining to elevating the associate experience for the organization as a whole. Engages in strategic thinking and planning, analyzes complex situations, and creates buy-in for a path forward. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in related field OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of below experience. Master's degree in psychology, health-care administration, business administration, or closely related field, preferred. EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity in health-care organizations managing relationships with health-care payers, holding responsibilities in business development, contract management, negotiations and operations. Preferably previous experience with behavioral services organization. 3-5 years' experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Learning & Development, or similar field required. 7 years of experience in talent development or a related field, with a demonstrated focus on driving performance management and / or employee engagement strategies, processes, and programs. Familiar with the field of early intervention, and community resources and agencies that serve children and individuals with ASD is required. Experience and knowledge in assessment, survey measurement and design; and engagement, human behavior, organizational behavior management, HR analytics, and/or people science. Experience with organizations that deliver clinical services in a multi-location is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Proficient in MS Office, Internet research and database information systems. Takes initiative to understand departmental objectives, adapts to a changing and fluid environment, and proactively solves problems. Track record of operating independently, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, being detailoriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner. Has an attention for detail coupled with savvy consulting and project management skills and will draw insights from survey results that can be shared with business leaders. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with engaging platform skills, executive presence and the ability to flex messaging across the entire organization aligning internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, using data to drive talent management decisions. Strong ethics and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with peers and stakeholders. Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements. Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration. Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed. Must pass all drug testing required by ESSC and a post-offer physical evaluation.
