Job Description:

As a Driver for JLR LLC, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently picking up loads from Amazon facilities and affiliates, and delivering them to other locations, usually no more that 300 miles away. You will be responsible for loading and unloading 26' box trucks. This position involves driving a delivery vehicle, loading and unloading cargo, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 26' box truck to conduct daily delivery routes
• Pick up and deliver loads to customers in a timely and professional manner
• Load and unload cargo
• Follow delivery routes and time schedules
• Communicate effectively with dispatch with any issues
• Properly track time
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
• Ensure cargo is secured properly and handle loading and unloading as needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Flexible schedule

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to operate manual pallet jack
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to operate a 26' box truck
• Strong understanding of trucking regulations and safety practices
• Ability to drive for extended periods of time and work in various weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• DOT physical/Medical card
