Job Description
We are in the construction industry and are based in Irmo, South Carolina. We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk. The role will involve a variety of tasks including handling phone calls, managing paperwork, inputting invoices and ordering materials.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
• Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
• Handle a high volume of paperwork and ensure it is organized and filed correctly
• Enter data from foreman sheets into company systems and verify its accuracy
• Coordinate schedules for routine and preventative maintenance of company vehicles
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary shop materials
• Track orders to ensure they are delivered on time and maintain inventory accuracy
• Process and input distribution invoices into the company’s accounting system
• Reconcile any discrepancies and ensure all invoices are accounted for accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Proficiency in 10 Key Skills• Excellent Customer Service abilities
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks
• Ability to handle Email Correspondence efficiently
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Experience with Organizing Files
• Ability to Perform Calculations accurately
