This is a temporary role from October 2024 - January 2025.

Primary Purpose:

Provide support for daily human resource operations. Manage routine Human Resources inquiries and provide responsive and knowledgeable assistance to employees. Ensure data and record-keeping integrity.

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Higher Education preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • Highly organized and efficient in repetitive tasks
  • Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and word documents
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • English proficiency, with excellent communication, strong interpersonal and writing skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience:

Minimum of six (6) months experience in Human Resources or similar setting

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Human Resources Support

1. Ability to accurately enter and/or retrieve information from various computerized systems and/or programs in a timely manner.

2. Employee transcript processing and data entry.

3. Employee transcript processing and data entry.

4. Ability to stay organized, follow guidelines and multi-task in a professional and effective manner.

5. Handle routine Human Resources inquiries to ensure a high level of service, responsiveness and provide knowledgeable support for employees and their supervisors. Explain Human Resources policies and practices to employees as appropriate.

6. Maintain Human Resources information database to ensure that employee information is accurate, current, and reliable.

Reports and Correspondence

7. Fulfillment of records requests.

8. Prepare correspondence, forms, reports according to district standards and requirements.

Other

9. Answer and respond to emails, incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.

10. Greet visitors and assist employees and applicants to complete applications and required paperwork.

11. Maintain confidentiality and operate with high levels of proficiency.

12. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

13. Any and all other duties assigned by supervisor

None.

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; imaging equipment.

Posture: Frequent walking, standing, bending/stooping, and reaching. Occasional pushing/pulling, and twisting.

Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.

Lifting: Occasional light to moderate lifting and carrying (less than 44 pounds).

Environment: 100% onsite. May work prolonged or irregular hours.

Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
