Job Description:
The role of the DES Analyst is to support domain teams with the execution work efforts that deliver required application data dictionaries and data quality assessments in support of EDG and Privacy Policy compliance requirements. Dedicated DES Analysts will be assigned to each domain to gain relevant familiarity that will help with successful execution of work efforts. The DES Analyst will support the work efforts and delivery team with the following responsibilities:
• Proactive onboarding - familiarity with Domain and applications – appropriate due diligence
• Partner with Domain teams to prioritize work efforts and delivery strategy
• Preload artifacts with relevant input from external sources
• Facilitate required meetings with delivery team to complete templates
• Support ABDO/TDM with analysis of artifacts to identify template contents
Facilitate entry of information into templates
• Facilitate the steps needed to complete templates
This includes approvals and storing templates into the EDG Policy Evidence folders
Provide direction and guidance on process and template usage
Partner with appropriate COEs to provide needed clarity and guidance on policy
This includes guidance on core and privacy data identification
• Facilitate the process and steps needed to complete recertification of templates
The following activities should NOT be considered within the scope of support the DES Analyst will provide in this role:
• Definition of process and templates - DAT
• Approve template contents - ABDO/TDM/DM responsibility
• DQ Controls assessment decisioning - DM responsibility
• DQ Controls assessment decisioning escalations to Domain Executive – DM responsibility
• Open SHRP Data Issue resulting from gaps in the DQ Controls assessment – ABDO responsibility
The number of assigned DES Analysts will be adjusted based on scope of EDG and Privacy requirements for the domain.
