Warehouse Associate Job at Adecco in North Kingstown

Adecco is assisting a customer in North Kingstown, RI who is recruiting for a Warehouse Associate. The rate of pay for this position is 18.00 - 19.00/hr depending on experience. This role is responsible for various physical inventory movements based on customer jobs and organization of the warehouse. The employee will need to be able to be detail orientated. A good candidate will work well independently and in teams with other employees.

Responsibilities

Take wood crating off pallets, unload material on the pallets, and accurately put material away in the documented locations

Fully read and understand the work order documents to pick, pull, pack items

Find inventory based on the warehouse location and gather supplies needed to fulfill the order

Use hand tools and equipment necessary to complete the work order

Maintain timing of orders to ensure the jobs are completed by the due date

Quality check the material being handled based on work order documents

Move, handle, and store materials by use of warehouse equipment. Such as; pallet jacks, wrapping machines, strapping equipment, bailers, etc.

Work as a productive member of the warehouse team

Ensure safe use equipment, tools, and work in an ergonomic manner

General cleaning and tidiness of all aspects of the warehouse

Follow all procedures and abide by the employee handbook

Assist with general warehouse activities, as needed

Skills

Understanding of inventory control

General hand tool skills

Basic math skills for inventory counts and master case packing

Ability to be trained, coordinate, and communicate effectively

Practice standard safety requirements, company specific safety training will be provided

Requirements

Ability to lift and co-lift material

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Pay Details: 18.00 to 19.00 per hour
