The Role

The Warehouse Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations by efficiently managing inventory, kitting manufacturing orders, receiving inbound materials, and issuing parts to the production line. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and a self-motivated drive to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse processes, ensuring smooth and effective operations within the warehouse.

What You Will Do

  • Kitting Manufacturing Orders: Prepare kits for manufacturing orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness before distribution to the production line. Maintain an inventory of kitted materials and report any discrepancies.
  • Receiving Inbound Materials: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring proper labeling and storage of received materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Issuing Parts to the Manufacturing Line: Fulfill requests for parts and materials from the manufacturing line, maintaining organized storage areas for easy access and coordinating with production staff for timely delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, monitor stock levels, and notify appropriate personnel when replenishment is needed. Keep accurate records of all inventory transactions.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation: Evaluate current warehouse processes, identify areas for improvement, propose and implement new methods to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline operations. Collaborate with team members and management to share best practices and support a culture of continuous improvement.
  • General Warehouse Duties: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently, and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Other activities assigned by management.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
