Job Description
Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, personnel, and program policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping regulations by staying informed about new legislation and enforcing adherence to requirements. Provide recommendations to management when needed.
- Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security protocols and procedures.
- Manage inventory control by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies with data storage systems.
- Oversee the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing layouts designs, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and submitting requisitions for equipment replacement.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, tracking expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
- Supervise warehouse operations by scheduling and assigning tasks to employees and following up on work results to ensure efficiency.
- Lead efforts in training and development of warehouse staff to maintain a well-trained team.
- Provide guidance and support to employees by offering regular feedback, and mentorship. Monitor and assess job performance to ensure continuous improvement and development.
- Stay updated with professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional associations.
- Contribute to team goals and overall operational success by accomplishing related tasks as required.
- Oversee safety compliance with OSHA standards, Department of Defense (DOD) regulations, Army policies, and local, state, and federal safety and health requirements.
- Establish and promote customer service standards within the team to ensure quality service delivery.
- Mange warehouse processes including budgeting, inventory control, equipment maintenance, safety management, and reporting.
Accept and implement special assignments as directed by the management.

Qualifications
Education. High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or related field preferred).
Experience. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, safety standards, and inventory control procedure. Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis tools. Minimum of five years of experience in budgeting, expense tracking, and financial planning. A minimum of five years in a supervisory role
Licenses/Certifications. Valid driver’s license.
Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.). All employees must undergo a driver’s license record check; employees must pass a background check.
Rate of Pay: $15.50/hr.
Pay Range: OP2
Hours: 9AM-6PM
