Job Description

Job Summary:&

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and dispatching goods in a factory or warehouse environment.&

Working under some supervision, this role follows established procedures to ensure accurate system transactions and optimized warehouse space while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming goods, check for damage or discrepancies between goods and invoices, and accurately sort, label, and store goods.
Arrange storage to optimize warehouse space and ensure efficient handling of inventory.
Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal orders.
Operate manual and automated equipment to fulfill customer expectations for product shipment.
Perform quality checks for damage and discrepancies, raising any issues to minimize cost and quality exposure.
Identify and control non-conforming materials in line with established quality procedures.
Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by using personal protective equipment, reporting hazards, and participating in HSE training.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
Collaborate with team members and support staff to improve processes and maintain equipment.
Participate in training and development activities to meet business goals.

Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in shipping and handling of goods.
Proficiency in inventory management.
Experience with order fulfillment processes.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
