Custodian

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Custodian to perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in our warehouse facilities.

This is a great opportunity to join the WeatherTech Direct team on 1st shift and 2nd Shift

• Base rate of pay starting at $21 per hour and an additional $1.00 differential for 2nd Shift.
• Hours: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm ; 2nd shift 2:00-10:30pm

As a Custodian, you will

• Clean and maintain all departments of our production facility including but not limited to offices, conference rooms, cafeterias, restrooms, and all other operational areas
• Maintain building cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting and disinfecting on a daily basis
• Clean the entrances and exits of the work areas by keeping them free of garbage, snow, and debris
• Routinely empty waste baskets and garbage cans
• Perform and/or report all minor maintenance repairs
• Report damages and acts of vandalism
• Represent the company in a professional manner when greeting and assisting customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

• At least 1 year of experience in a role related to custodial work, building maintenance, or general labor
• Able to read, understand, and follow labels/instructions for proper use of cleaning products and supplies
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Be an excellent performer; deliver high quality results consistently
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
• Be able to work well independently
