Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
The LEAD ensures that all the product has been received and paperwork turned into your supervisor/inventory control for receipt verification and approval.
· Responsible for the prioritization of your zones inbound product
· Communicate to your supervisor about inbound product and location organization
· Ensure that all the product has been received and paperwork turned into your supervisor/inventory control for receipt verification and approval.
· Oversee, assist and perform order pulling
· Assist with customers, other shipping groups, and customer services as needed
· Plan following days receiving schedule
· Maintain a safe work area; follow forklift procedures
· Enforce all companywide policies and procedures.
· Substitute as fill in team lead in any zone as needed
· Other various projects / duties as determined by manager
Responsibilities with employees:
· Work with team to develop effective processes
· Lead damage prevention procedures
· Delegate and train receiving responsibilities to team members
· Develop goals and skills to improve performance of employees
· Follow-up on coachable opportunities with employees
· Communicate new information or changes in direction
· Timekeeping, scheduling, and PTO approval
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Previous supervisor experience encouraged
· Previous customer services experience
· Previous warehouse experience
· Strong computer skills
· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
· Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
· Regularly required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
