The Four Hands Distribution Team operates out of seven locations with nearly 1,000,000 sqft of warehouse space. In the Fall of 2024, we opened a 565,000 sqft warehouse in Del Valle, Texas to condense four warehouses into one, to be a centralized hub for our distribution network. A role in our distribution center means being at the heart of our industry by getting products to our customers as quickly as possible.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join us as our Director of Warehouse Operations. In this role, you will oversee all facets of our multi-site warehouse operations, from receiving and warehousing to order fulfillment and shipping. You'll be the strategic mastermind behind our planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation efforts, ensuring our operations align with business objectives and customer demands.

In This Role
- Lead and manage all aspects of multi-site warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Conduct appropriate planning, forecasting, budgeting and allocation of resources in support of business objectives and strategies
- Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations to meet company objectives and customer demands; maintain P&L accountability for the facility and operation
- Build and nurture a high-performing warehouse team, providing employee development, guidance, coaching, and support to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Collaborate with People & Culture to hire, train, develop, and coach warehouse managers, ensuring optimal staffing and training levels
- Lead daily and weekly operational reviews to ensure seamless communication and efficient execution
- Optimize warehouse processes and layout, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance efficiency
- Participate, maintain, and ensure execution and compliance of safety initiatives, quality standards, and protocols
- Support inventory initiatives through proper inventory management and cycle count procedure
- Support freight optimization strategy
- Provide leadership and direction; establish operating principles, foster collaboration between functions, and set goals and objectives
- Ensure accountability at all levels in the facility for achievement of organizational and business goals

The Ideal Person
- 10+ years of progressive operations and logistics leadership experience in a wholesale, distribution or fulfillment environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain
- Demonstrated experience using continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma to lead operational transformation
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ex: SAP, ERP, CRM); experience with WMS required
- Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
- Ability to streamline or implement structure to boost speed and efficiency while supporting business demands
