FDH Aero Defense Aftermarket is looking for a Warehouse Associate I who will be responsible for receiving, storing, packaging and distributing aircraft parts and ground support equipment (GSE), while performing packaging, lot receiving and cycle count job functions safely, accurately, and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and identify aircraft parts and receive them into computer software applications
  • Load/unload inventory onto shipping containers and flatbed trucks
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and requisitions to determine items to be pulled from inventory
  • Package parts to ship to customers using specific packaging methods to ensure that the parts are fully protected and compliant to customer specifications
  • Maintain inventory controls by documenting part traceability and storing pictures using the company’s network drive and applications
  • Pull parts from specific locations within the warehouse and stage them in areas for preparation of shipments
  • Lean Tier initiative engagement
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method
  • Validate and record amounts of materials or items received, distributed or cycle counted via appropriate computer program
  • Weigh, count and inspect items to ensure conformance to established standards
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Follow processes and procedures and adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the U.S. Department of State regarding The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Follow processes and procedures and adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security regarding the Export Administration Regulations. (EAR)
  • Assist in counting, tarping and movement of physical inventory
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments
  • Sweep, dust, mop, organize and maintain warehouse and work area clean at all times
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards
  • May be assigned to facilities maintenance and put-away as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED preferred
  • 0-1 year experience
  • A US Person status as defined by ITAR Regulations
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
  • Basic Computer
  • Data Entry
  • Effective communication, teamwork, coordination, planning, prioritizing, time management, inventory control, record keeping, equipment maintenance, and reliability
  • Keen attention to detail

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
  • ITAR Requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. Pay: $20.00 per hour
