A dynamic and growing company is seeking an assertive and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee daily operations in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a strategic mindset, and a hands-on approach to managing tasks and employees. This role requires experience in logistics, staff management, and warehouse operations. Amazon experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leadership: Open and close the warehouse, ensure all tasks are executed smoothly, and maintain warehouse efficiency.
  • Operations: Oversee picking, packing, deliveries, pickups, and ensure the warehouse is well-organized, clean, and supplied.
  • Logistics: Ensure orders are picked up on time by UPS/FedEx, manage FBA shipments, and oversee incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff; ensure employees are completing tasks effectively.
  • Workflow Optimization: Monitor and adjust warehouse processes to ensure optimal workflow.
  • Troubleshooting: Handle IT issues in the warehouse and troubleshoot software problems when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Assess and resolve discrepancies in inventory, maintain stock accuracy.
Ideal Qualifications:
  • Character Traits: Assertive, flexible, proactive, able to take responsibility, works well under pressure, outgoing.
  • Skills: Strong time management, strategic thinking, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Experience: Prior warehouse management experience; Amazon experience is a significant advantage.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to train, hire, and fire staff, ensuring the warehouse is running efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with warehouse software and troubleshooting IT issues as needed.
Hours:
  • Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
