As a Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the staffing needs of our organization. You will play a critical role in building a strong workforce and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and engaging potential candidates, as well as a strong understanding of the foodservice and distribution industry. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the company. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize multiple sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to identify potential candidates. Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate and conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the organization. Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruiting best practices. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and feedback. Offer Management: Extend job offers, negotiate terms, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Employer Branding: Promote company as employer of choice through various marketing and branding initiatives. Reporting: Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and performance to senior leadership. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the foodservice or distribution industry. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
