Job Title: Resource Parent Recruiter Company: A Better Way Role: Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families? Join our dynamic Foster Family Agency as a Resource Parent Recruiter and play a vital role in finding loving and supportive homes for children in need. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team and help us build a strong network of Resource Parents. Responsibilities: Identify, engage, and recruit potential foster parents who can provide safe and nurturing environments for children in foster care. Build relationships with individuals, families, and community organizations to promote awareness of foster care opportunities. Develop and implement innovative strategies to recruit resource parents, including targeted outreach campaigns and community events. Conduct informational sessions, presentations, and workshops to educate potential resource parents about the foster care system. Conduct home visits and screenings to assess the suitability of potential resource parents. Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities using our database system. Attend community events to promote foster care services and engage with potential resource parents. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Knowledge of foster care regulations and child welfare systems is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities. Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively. Compassion and empathy for children in foster care and their families. Must pass a background check and receive TB and health clearances prior to employment. Work Environment: This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week. Supervisor defines schedule to meet business needs. Evenings and weekends required. Hybrid work, partially in the office and in the community. Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle objects and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and move boxes up to fifteen pounds.
