Job Summary:
The Staffing Recruiter will manage the full recruitment cycle, focusing on staffing general labor positions within the warehousing and logistics industry, as well as other staffing-critical sectors such as general labor and assembly, landscaping, janitorial and cleaning, and entry-level administrative roles. This role involves efficiently sourcing, screening, and placing candidates, often with short notice, while ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both clients and candidates. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to assess potential employees quickly, and experience working with a diverse, multilingual workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening and Interviewing:
- Conduct initial screenings and in-depth interviews to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Assess candidates quickly and effectively during limited interactions to ensure a good fit for the roles.
- Administer relevant assessments and tests.
- Client Collaboration:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with placed candidates.
- Coordinate with clients to fill roles, often with 1 or 2 days’ notice.
- Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers.
- Manage interview schedules and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with up-to-date candidate information.
- Diverse Workforce Management:
- Work effectively with a multilingual workforce, often Spanish-speaking candidates.
- Ensure clear communication and understanding across language barriers.
Qualifications
- Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a diverse, multilingual workforce.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Working proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with TempWorks Beyond ATS or other HR databases
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing, preferably within the warehousing and logistics industry.
