Physician Recruiter
 
General Job Summary:   Responsible for the successful recruitment of physicians and advanced practice professionals for Tryon Medical Partners.

(This is a full time position that will support our MSO in SouthPark, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm).

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Identifies and sources targeted physicians using a variety of effective recruitment methods. 
  • Reviews resumes/applications and phone screens candidates to determine quality and fit. 
  • Present physician opportunities with detail and clarity, providing information about the compensation plan, benefits and specific elements of the position.
  • Prepares job descriptions and develops job postings for Tryon’s website. 
  • Identifies and searches candidate database(s) for potential candidates.
  • Develops hiring campaigns and places follow-up calls to proactively source candidates.
  • Research and attend job fairs, conferences and other physician recruitment opportunities; research association publications, websites and other appropriate resources on which to post physician opportunities.
  • Assists with the development of promotional materials to be used in recruitment.
  • Maintains candidate tracking database of positions open, interviews scheduled, offers made, offers accepted or not accepted and reasons for offers declined to ensure the candidate selection process is competitive.
  • Stays current on regional and national physician hiring trends and practices; keeps informed of changes impacting Tryon’s ability to hire and retain top physician talent.
  • Ensure new physicians are aware of their orientation schedule and have completed all required onboarding tasks, new hire paperwork and regulator, policy and health compliance requirements.
  • Liaison between IT, Compliance, Finance and other corporate departments to ensure a seamless transition.
  • Works closely with the Credentialing Department for provider credentialing tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 – 4 years recruiting experience, healthcare experience preferred. 
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills including negotiation skills; must be persistent and persuasive.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
  • Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, and thorough reporting.
  • Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude and change oriented.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Must be able to lift and support weight of 35 pounds
  • Ability to concentrate on details.
  • Use of computer for long periods of time.
