Job Description
The Recruiter/HR Assistant at Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips will play a key role in identifying, attracting and hiring skilled talent to support the production, quality, logistics and corporate functions of our business.
The Recruiter/HR Assistant will develop and execute recruitment strategies to find high-quality candidates who align with our culture and business needs. This role involves full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires. You will work closely with department heads, especially in production, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions, to ensure the timely hiring of employees who will help Dieffenbach’s meet its growth and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Cycle Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for roles across production, quality assurance, maintenance, and other key functions.
- Conduct job analysis to define role requirements, qualifications and competencies for various positions.
- Sourcing & Talent Pipelines:
- Proactively source candidates using a variety of methods.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates, particularly for high-demand roles.
- Screening & Interviewing:
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate’s skills, experience and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers to select the most suitable candidates.
- Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with hiring managers and the HR team to understand staffing needs, define recruitment goals and improve the hiring process.
- Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from the application through on-boarding.
- Communicate with the candidates in a timely manner, providing feedback and updates on their status.
- Onboarding Support:
- Support onboarding efforts to ensure new hires are integrated effectively and quickly into their roles.
- Employer Branding:
- Help promote the company’s brand by representing the organization at recruitment events, developing marketing materials, and promoting the company’s values and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related experience.
- Prove experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations.
Familiarity with social media recruiting and employer branding strategies
