About The Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Recruiter to join the Forge Biologics team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and be part of a team that will be instrumental to the growth of the organization. The Sr. Recruiter will be responsible for managing full life cycle recruitment, which includes internal client management, recruitment strategy development, managing role definition, sourcing, the candidate process, offer negotiations, and developing relationship and creating a best-in-class experience for all external and internal talent. The Sr. Recruiter will primarily manage the recruiting for all Forge Biologics scientific and technical departments, which include technical development, MS&T, quality and regulatory. This position will be based out of Forge's corporate office in Columbus, OH.

This position works in a typical office environment where the physical work demands will vary depending on the specific tasks and duties required of the job. This is largely a sedentary role; persons holding office positions are generally subject to inside environmental conditions having the lighting, temperature, and noise of an open floor-plan office environment. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Regularly communicate with others in person, over the phone, and electronically. Must be able to move and/or carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs.

This position will be based out of Forge's corporate office in Columbus, OH.
What You'll Do
- Full life cycle recruitment for both individual contributor and management positions across a variety of technical (science, quality and engineering) and sometimes non-technical departments within the organization.
- Partner with all stakeholders to understand business needs and establish a recruiting strategy.
- Work closely with hiring team on designing job descriptions, defining key skills, desired candidate experiences, and recruiting and evaluation process.
- Source and screen candidates from a variety of sources, which include internal/external job boards, direct sourcing, diversity sourcing, applicants, employee referrals, targeted advertising, college programs, and industry networking.
- Present slate of qualified candidates to hiring manager.
- Manage the interview process, which includes oversight of candidate interviews, collecting feedback and communicating to all stakeholders.
- Own the closing process, which includes candidate selection, offer recommendations, communications, and negotiations.
- Act as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers and human resources partners and provide updates and timely information with all stakeholders, as needed.
- Ensure there is a positive experience for the candidate, hiring manager and interviewing team at every stage of the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
- Create and maintain various recruitment tracking and reports.
- Support campus recruiting efforts and represent Forge Biologics at virtual and in person recruiting events.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR management, life science, or another related field required
- 5+ years' experience in full life cycle recruiting in a fast-paced corporate environment or with a staffing firm. Prior experience in corporate recruiting is preferred
- Experience recruiting for scientific and technical positions such as technical development, product development, R&D, quality is required
- Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/Biotech industry experience is required
- High level of comfort with social media recruitment, direct sourcing and the ability to sell currently employed potential candidates on opportunities
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a strong attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities
- Experience handling sensitive/confidential information
- Outstanding client service, problem solving & project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with candidates and employees at all levels
- Strong business acumen, influencing & negotiation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Candidate Relationship Management software (CRM) and/or Applicant Tracking System (ATS) required
