Job Description
GTSC seeks a seasoned DoD/IC Sourcing Recruiter SME to identify, recruit, screen, and present qualified candidates for positions for our federal government customer programs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and tenacious about filling positions that are challenging and unique to the DoD/IC community.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
- Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
- Identifies the most effective methods for sourcing, recruiting and attracting candidates.
- Works with the TA team to develop recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
- Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
- Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers.
- Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
- Assists with vetting potential employees' credentials.
- Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
- Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
- May attend virtual job fairs and industry conferences.
- Should be open to mentoring other recruiters on the team in sourcing techniques and best practices in recruiting
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have extensive experience in retained and contingent searches for a broad range of technical positions for Commercial, Public Sector and Federal Government to include US Government Intelligence Agencies, DOD, Security, and Cyber work.
- Must have proven success in filling Hard to Fill Requisitions, High Level Cleared Candidates and DNI (Diversity and Inclusion) talent.
- Ability to network fast with exceptional listening skills.
- Must be able to leverage recruiting resources such as online tools, advanced Boolean searches, multi-social recruiting, digital media, market analysis, virtual job fairs, open houses, closed intel job fairs, professional networking, YouTube, and cold calling contacts to help identify, screen and pipeline qualified top talent.
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills, including positions unique to US federal government contracting and the IC community.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Must be able to travel occasionally on recruiting assignments and for corporate events.
- Must be willing to work a full- time schedule that will be somewhat flexible to meet the availability of the candidates being sought for various positions and within various locations and time zones.
- Must provide up to date sourcing/recruiting data for weekly TA/Status calls.
- Should be proactive in creating plans or updating strategies in different ways to source for positions if they remain unfilled.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related technical, business, psychology, and/or human resources field preferred.
- At least 10 years of related federal government IC/DoD recruiting experience required with a degree, or 14 years of related IC/DoD recruiting experience without a degree.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Most work will be done remotely.
This is a full- time salaried position with performance bonuses.
