Our team has expanded from a Chicago-based HQ to now having offices in Austin, Miami, and warehousing and logistics operations that are in full-growth mode.
We are hoping to find someone who has “been there, done that” when asked about their hands-on experience and is ready to hit the ground running.

Overview
We are a fast-growing healthcare technology company seeking a talented, highly motivated, and experienced HR Recruiter that can be on-site 5 days a week in our Austin office to focus on recruiting highly skilled Software Engineers. We’re seeking more than one team member to support the HR functions, ideally candidates who can assist not only our in-house recruiting functions, but also manage generalist HR responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties
- Recruit top-tier Software Engineers for various roles, including front-end, back-end, full-stack, and DevOps, to support the growth of our healthcare technology company.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure the recruitment of highly skilled software engineers who meet our technical and cultural needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruitment strategies tailored to each engineering role.
- Conduct technical screenings and assessments (in collaboration with engineering teams) to evaluate candidates' coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, college fairs and employee referrals to identify potential candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
- Develop job descriptions and selection criteria.
- Support the functional areas of human resources including, but not limited to, onboarding, training and development, performance management, personnel records, compensation and benefits, employee relations, retention and engagement, and off-boarding.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve the employee experience.
- Manage ongoing policies, programs, and procedures to foster understanding of and improvement in management, supervisory, or employee relations.
- Assist with field investigations as needed.
- Coordinate and enforce HR policies, processes, systems, and reporting activities. Ensure consistency of application.
- Effectively manage employee relations issues.
- Ensure consistent delivery of benefit programs in partnership with the corporate benefits team.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree (B.A.) in related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Recruiting experience (Proven record of recruiting highly skilled Software Engineers)
- Enjoys the recruitment process.
- PHR or SPHR certification desirable.
- HR/HRIS Administration and technical expertise.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possesses specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures, including administration of benefits, compensation, and other programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong, positive working. relationships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
