Duties
Assist teachers in classroom activities and management. Break teachers for lunch and break times. Fill in if a teacher is absent.

ECD 101, Childhood experience in a DSS licensed facility.

- High school diploma or Associates Degree
- At least six months experience working in DSS certified childcare facility
- CPR/first aid certificate or be able to obtain this
- ECD 101 preferable
- Be familiar with Creative Curriculum or willing to learn how to use
- A positive, friendly attitude for parents and children
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision
- Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards
- Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized
- Coursework in early childhood education or child development is a plus
- At least three references
- The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
- Be organized and have the ability to plan lessons that are educational, hands on and interesting
- Provide a learning environment that is safe, comfortable and healthy, in order to enhance children's growth and development
- Be Flexible and Proactive
- Be Able to work the full time hours 9:00-5:30 with occasional overtime or 7:00-1:00 or 12:45-5:30
