We are seeking a dedicated Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will perform various administrative tasks to ensure the delivery of patient care aligns with our philosophy. The role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing personalized, prompt attention to all patients and visitors.
Responsibilities- Ensure that the delivery of patient care is consistent with the philosophy of our medical group.
- Provide personalized, prompt attention to all patients and visitors, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect.
- Provide discharge instructions to patients as instructed by physicians and sign the superbill as per discharge procedure.
- Notify patients of test results via telephone following review and instruction by the physician.
- Perform data entry and manage patient records efficiently.
- Handle front desk responsibilities including answering phones and scheduling appointments.
- Manage crisis situations effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Utilize electronic medical records, including Epic, for efficient patient care management.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic medical records.
- Strong data entry and administration skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Ability to manage patient care and patient records efficiently.
- Experience with front desk operations and scheduling.
- BLS Certification.
- Experience with Epic is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a growing and changing environment.
The position is based in a hospital setting. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
