Job Description
PPM Consultants, Inc. is seeking a receptionist/administrative assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks at our Orlando, Florida location.
As administrative support to the technical staff you will be the first point of contact for the company and will provide administrative support to the team across the organization. You will handle the flow of people (clients, teams, visitors) through the business and ensure that administrative responsibilities are handled with accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
- Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers
- Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
- Assist Project Managers, Engineers, Geologists with clerical duties such as report editing, preparation of analytical tables, updating field schedules.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as electronic filing, photocopying, scanning, collating, etc.

- Proven working experience in a front office handling similar responsibilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under tight deadlines
- High school degree or equivalent; (AS or BS degree a plus)
