Job Description:
This position provides administrative support to faculty, staff and students in the department. Manages department budget and completes purchases. Monitors expenditures and manages funds to include electronic budget transfers and generates accurate budget reports. Ensures receipt of purchases and/or services in accordance with university state guidelines. Assists with the department's implementation of recruitment and retention plans, including: the scheduling and coordination of tours, open houses, and recruitment and retention events. Maintains and organizes data required for annual accreditation review. Assists with faculty appointment, hiring, assignment, and status. Assists with the registration of students, classroom assignments, proctoring student assessments, coordinating faculty advisor assignments, and student success events. Arranges travel accommodations and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Demonstrated knowledge of general office policies, practices, and equipment;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Experience providing administrative or programmatic support in an office environment.
- Experience working with Banner, eVA, Cognos and other student information systems;
- Working knowledge of university and state policies/procedures;
- Knowledge of professional and state regulations for speech-language pathology.
