POSITION SUMMARY Coordinates daily administrative functions and secretarial duties for the Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer. Assist Directors when needed.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required: A minimum of two years experience in an Administrative Assistant or Executive Secretarial position.
Preferred: Associate Degree in Secretarial Science (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)
ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Required to possess superior telephone skills.
Required to effectively operate personal computer to include Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel and calendars. Familiar with iPhone, iPad and laptops.
Required to transcribe from written notes and oral transcribing equipment.
Ability to effectively compose written correspondence for external and internal clients.
Ability to effectively operate telephone and intercom equipment.
Required to possess exceptional communication skills.
Required to effectively communicate orally with all visitors who come in contact with Vice President, Post Acute Services office including patients, family members and Board members.
Ability to meet and deal effectively with general public.
Ability to maintain strong emotional control in stressful situations.
Ability to organize large functions/groups.
Ability to facilitate organizational meetings.
