Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in running and coordinating the day to day administrative duties of the building. This position assists with specific daily functions for the administrative department but also serves as a back-up for other key positions such as the BOM/HR and Receptionist. To be successful in this role, you will display high organizational and professional skills which include; excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task, communication and meet deadlines.

Answering and directing calls to appropriate care team members, departments and residents


Assists HR Manager with candidate review and scheduling interviews with department heads


Assists HR Manager with the on-boarding process for new hires


Serves as back-up for conducting orientation when the BOM/HR Manager is out of the office or a leave of absence


Serves as back-up for the receptionist during breaks or time off


May assist the Marketing and Admissions department as the point of contact for resident admissions


Assists the Executive Director/HR Manager with the implementation of the monthly recognition of the Magic Maker program


Assists HR Manager with conducting Care Team Member Stay and/or Exit Interviews


Ensure weekly appreciation events are coordinated for the Care Team Members


Perform other tasks as assigned within the scope of work
