Soliant is hiring: Contract-to-Hire Retail Pharmacist Huntington, WV in Huntingt

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in a Retail/Long Term Care setting in Huntington, WV. This is a contract-to-hire position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Start: ASAP
End: 13 weeks, contract to hire

Shift: A mix of day shifts (starting at 7:00 AM) and evening shifts (ending at 11:30 PM)

Duties:

• Medication Verification & Dispensing: Accurately check and verify prescription orders, ensuring all medications meet the highest standards of safety and pliance.
• Patient Care: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, counseling them on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
• Technician Supervision: Oversee and guide pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and pliance with all pharmacy regulations.
• Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and storing medications, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration checks.
• pliance: Maintain knowledge of all state and federal pharmacy laws, including adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and DEA regulations.

Experience:

• Prior Long-Term Care experience is highly preferred, but not required.
• Must have strong retail pharmacy experience and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Requirements:

• PharmD required.
• Must hold an active West Virginia pharmacist license in good standing.
