Key Responsibilities:
- Product Procurement: Identify and purchase trading card products across sports, gaming, and collectibles to align with market trends and customer demands.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing, exclusive items, and consistent inventory flow.
- Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, new product releases, and competitor activity to make strategic buying decisions.
- Inventory Optimization: Analyze sales data to ensure proper stock levels, minimize overstock, and maximize profitability.
- Budget Oversight: Manage purchasing budgets to achieve sales and margin goals while maintaining product quality and variety.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a retail buyer, preferably in trading cards, collectibles, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the trading card market, including sports and gaming products.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in inventory management software is a plus.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
