YOUR ROLE
We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and adaptable individual to join our team as an Analyst. The analytics group provides resources across the "equity" to the "response" side of the continuum of brand and media management.
As a member of the analytics team, you will work closely with the various members of the Analytics team, in addition to New Business and Account Teams, to help solve current and prospective client strategic problems. This is a significant responsibility as the agency looks to the Analytics group for much direction, strategic thinking, and prowess in data science.
- Join strategic discussions with our clients to help define media objectives, target customers & opportunity sizing, communication channels, optimal budget allocations and investment levels, media timing, and messaging.
- Generate quantitative and qualitative consumer and market research & strategy including:
- Demographic, psychographic, and behavioral customer profiling
- Media channel coverage, penetration, receptivity
- Brand health deep dives
- Competitive analysis and category trends
- Conduct media effectiveness and ROI analysis including marketing mix models and multi-touch attribution, including data integration from various sources
- Clean, format and transform raw data into engaging visuals and compelling stories using Datorama and Tableau.
- Work closely with account teams to understand media campaigns, strategy and industry nuances of clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- MA or B.A with 1-2 years' experience in market research/digital analytics, statistics, business intelligence, CRM or similar.
- Experience with data visualization and common cloud platforms (Tableau, Datorama, Domo, etc.)
- Understanding and basic knowledge of SQL and coding.
- Familiarity using syndicated consumer research surveys (MRI, Simmons, YouGov, etc.).
- Previous exposure to media tools (Kantar, NMR, iSpot, Comscore, AdClarity, MOAT/DoubleVerify, Adobe SiteCatalyst/Google Analytics).
- Really know your stuff on R, Python, Amazon Web Services in addition to SQL.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking agility.
- Willing to compromise their point of view in support of others.
Location: Please note this role requires a candidate with proximity to our NYC office. We offer a hybrid work setting with employees working both onsite and from home.
Salary: 60,000-65,000. Commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications, certifications, tenure in the industry and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
