Job Title: Master Data Analyst (SAP) Type of Position: 12-month contract position initially (good chance this role will be converted to direct hire) Candidate Requirements: Candidates MUST be either US Citizens, Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders), or TN visa holders. Candidates who are on CPT, OPT, or H1B visas are not eligible for this role. This company is NOT open to corp2corp (c2c) or corp2hire (c2h). Job Location: Durham, NC area (Research Triangle Park). This is a hybrid role, generally 2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days working from home (depending on the need). Tuesdays & Wednesdays are required onsite. Compensation: $35.00/hr to $38.00/hr (depending on experience). Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours. Benefits: Available (health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, etc) 5 days PTO (accrual) is available on contract. There would be significantly more PTO in going direct hire. Job Description / Duties: HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major chemical, research, and agriculture organization to hire a Master Data Analyst (SAP). In this role, you will support Master Data processes and technology, ensuring efficient creation and maintenance of articles in SAP and APO systems. Responsibilities: Article Management: Initiate and manage all aspects of article creation and extension in the local Material Master Database. Collaborate with US and global teams to process article requests and approvals. Data Quality and Accuracy: Ensure correct master data setup in accordance with global MD guidelines and regional requirements. Monitor master data quality and resolve errors for regional materials, including finished goods, intermediates, active ingredients, and raw materials. System Support and Optimization: Support proper SAP/APO article setup for effective supply chain planning and execution. Translate supply chain business processes into an efficient SAP transactional environment. Participate in system modification testing. Process Improvement: Develop and implement improvement projects and process optimizations within assigned areas of responsibility. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably with a computer science focus, or equivalent work experience. 3 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management (MDM), Material Management (MM), Manufacturing, Procurement, Planning, or Logistics. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset. Work Environment / Physical Requirements: 1st (day) shift role. This is a hybrid role, generally 2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days working from home (depending on the need). Tuesdays & Wednesdays are mandatory onsite.
