This is a 12 month contract with johnson & johnson. 100% remote. Client needs someone that is a BA/Data Analyst /PM type profile. All visa - No H1B. We are seeking a hybrid Business Data Analyst and Project Manager to support the MedTech Strategic Contracting IT Team. This team supports the MedTech Strategic Contracting & Pricing business team by providing data analytics and visualizations that are leveraged to make strategic decisions for pricing and contracting. The IT team has historically been lean, and has struggled to find analysts with strong analytical and coordination skills. The team has the largest instance of contracting data within J&J and leverges Qlik to create a self-service reporting platform for users. The team operates within a Kanban framework; no sprints. More of a Wagile approach Analyst will support the Scrum Master with Project Management activities; They will work with developers to gather updates and be able to present project status reports to leadership. They should look beyond the JIRA backlog and consider the overall program and tasks to be done Support team with streamlining Work-in-progress. Make recommendations to slim down backlog of tasks and epics (I.e. instead of 23 separate tasks against 4-5 epics during a Scrum stand-up, let's focus on 10 tasks and 2 epics). Support Lead Analyst to understand business requirements and translate into user-stories. They should have an overall understanding of the business objective and goals and how to translate objectives into tactical activities Must have strong Excel and analytical skills. Should be able to filter on columns in Excel and draw insights from data. They need to understand what the data is used for and why they are analyzing it. For example, they should know how to calculate growth (75K of revenue one year, and 100K revenue the next year is 33% growth). Experience with Business Intelligence tools is highly prefered. Team uses Qlik and Tableau. Support Scrum Master and Lead Analyst with measuring velocity and understanding how the projects align to the greater roadmap. This is not happening to date. SQL is a nice to have - will be helpful.
