SAIC is seeking an experienced, results-oriented, mission-driven Data Quality Analyst with specialized focus on data quality analysis, mapping, and testing. We are looking for talented, innovative, and experienced individual to support the effort to increase the speed of data delivery for structured and unstructured data in the support of national security objectives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding executing IT systems and supporting transformations utilizing a Lean Agile framework that promotes collaboration, transparency and continuous improvement. This is high visibility program, and we are seeking a results oriented self-starter.
As a Data Quality Analyst you will contribute to a fast-paced team responsible for monitoring and maintaining data quality and conduct data testing. Your work will include responding to urgent data quality issues as they arise as well as proactive analysis to discover and research previously unknown problem areas.

As a Data Quality Analyst you will contribute to a fast-paced team responsible for monitoring and maintaining data quality and conduct data testing. Your work will include responding to urgent data quality issues as they arise as well as proactive analysis to discover and research previously unknown problem areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluate the quality of data received from data sources to assess changes/updates existing data flows
- Evaluate conditioned data to ensure data is properly mapped and ready for UAT
- Work with necessary technical support teams and business process owners for investigation and resolution of production quality control failures that affect operations service delivery
- Create or update data models to ensure that data is stored in an organized manner
- Develop processes and procedures to support the operating quality and efficiency of quality control checks in the production environment
- Create and implement plans to improve data quality by identifying causes of errors or discrepancies and determining effective solutions
- Work closely with all teams necessary to implement, measure, and improve quality standards for new and existing production functionality
- Work with service providers to establish procedures for data collection and analysis
- Consult with service providers and customers to determine how new data standards could affect operations
- Document data quality issues and recommending solutions to problems
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- Minimum 5 years Demonstrated experience providing data support to data engineering, and ETL teams
- Minimum 5 years experience in SQL testing experience
- Python, Pyspark Scripting experience
- Ability to work closely with highly technical IT database, development, and infrastructure staff
- Experience working with IT development teams, and infrastructure support organizations
- Ability to effectively communicate issues in writing and orally at appropriate levels of detail for executive audiences, business stakeholders and technical teams
- Demonstrated ability to perform both routine daily tasks and highly skilled analysis and complex project work
- Experience in supporting processes for the technical and operational architecture of complex enterprise systems
- Highly collaborative individual with ability to build strong professional relationships
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
- Flexibility and desire to quickly adapt to new methods, situations, and various requirements
- Solid organizational, time & task management skills
