Area of Accountability
- Understand the current capabilities of Hendrickson with regards to data analysis
- Improve Hendrickson's data analysis and prediction capabilities
- Implement any improvements, for use in the business
Major Responsibilities (may vary depending on project):
- Understand and document current processes around data ingestion and synthesis of our current forecasting system
- Investigating advanced methodologies to improve forecasting, and determine with the team which one(s) are worth pursuing
- Validate selected methodologies by using historical data and 'predicting' past forecasts and comparing them to actual
- Once an acceptable methodology is selected, take steps to roll it out to the business
- - All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Enrolled student working towards a Bachelor's Degree in ComputerScience, IT, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or related field.
- Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
- Must be able to commit to full-time (40-hours).
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent PC skills and tech familiarity.
- Familiarity with data and or AI tools (SQL, PowerBI, Python, Tensorflow)
- An understanding of time series data, and forecasting
