The Controller System and Data Operations (CSDO) function within Finance Controllers Team is responsible for partnering with the Global Process Owners in Finance to transform the end-to-end Global Operating Model for all Financial Books and Records processes, platforms and results. This is a role within the CSCO Controllers Adjustment Reduction program with a focus on aggregator applications.
We partner with Finance and Risk to understand their data requirements for regulatory and internal management reporting. As part of the Adjustment Reduction initiative, our team strives to resolve data quality issues in the aggregation systems so that the consumers can rely on timely, accurate and complete data. Our team will analyze issues, review test results, and contribute to solutions. We will liaise across different stakeholder groups to facilitate discussion on strategies, challenges, and to monitor progress.
The Data Integration Sr Analyst is responsible for facilitating / executing the day-to-day activities that support the execution, enablement and adoption of the Data Transformation Plan and/or support of use cases through collaboration with Functions, Regions and Lines of Business. An ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, strong interpersonal skills and project management expertise are required. The role requires sound analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate complex and dynamic material from various sources to support with business requirement documents, data issues and analysis.
This position will help data sourced and provisioned by Data Services improve in data quality as part of the major adjustment reduction program. The analyst will assess, evaluate, and analyze data challenges and provide recommendations on their resolution. They will collaborate with an array of teams and groups, developing subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry practices and standards. They will utilize their subject matter knowledge and guide the stakeholders to strategically resolve the source data quality issues and eliminate the tactical data intervention in data marts and improve the Straight Through Processing. The Senior Analyst would collaborate with team members working in different geographical locations and contribute to key data quality improvement initiatives critical for the organization. This position will help to ensure data sourced and provisioned by Data Services meets all required data quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings
- Examines and evaluates project status, including identifying potential risks and issues that need escalation or change and proposing solutions to project leads
- Determines appropriateness, checks quality, and guides revisions/refinement of presentation content and materials for Governance forums
- Manage day-to-day activities related to the overall program / project, and associated dependencies. Allocate / coordinate work within team or project group
- Support resolution of project issues by offering solutions to resolve complex problems, and by interpreting and advising on policies, guidelines or processes
- Liaises with multiple Data teams/departments, and serve as subject matter for planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes
- Independently conducts analysis and executes tasks that contribute to work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage, Data Governance and taxonomy
- Develops and articulates business requirements and maps current and future state processes
- Contributes tactically to strategic design and process improvement project implementation across lines of business and functions working with Technology and Operations and other support organizations
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

- Aid in optimizing metrics reporting process.
- 4-10 years relevant experience in Banking or Finance preferred
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Ability to provide in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how own area and others collectively integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives
- Familiarity with data concepts
- Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
- Problem solving, Analytical thinking & Risk based mindset.
- Knowledge on banking products. Knowledge in Data mart & associated processes will be an advantage
- Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred
