We are looking for a knowledge management and data ecosystem smart person who can focus on helping clients transform their People, Data, and Technology to align their processes. You will work with developers, communicators, trainers, and content owners to provide guidance on creating a complex ecosystem that humans can navigate to grow knowledge that enables digital change, data-driven decisions, and process efficiency / effective innovation.
Our team uses agile techniques for developing innovative and strategic solutions through transparent communication, proactive tasking, and integrated team methods to ensure we collaborate naturally for our client's benefit.
Experience with modern knowledge management systems such as SharePoint Online, Confluence, Product Lifecycle Management tools, and other data repositories is desired. Our team works in M365, so application of KM in this environment is required and a willingness to grow your knowledge base is encouraged.

Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop, maintain, and mature a KM strategy and “Roadmap" for incorporating KM user stories and tasks into the Digital Transformation program,
- Lead the execution of the KM strategy based on the client’s vision, knowledge, solutions and tools to advance human ability of the workforce to adopt change,
- Support the ongoing delivery of a tailored training process to cover governance, workforce interface development, and data focused foundation for knowledge,
- Monitors the quality and effectiveness of KM documentation in the enterprise and education outcomes, including developing educational resources and/or facilitating training sessions,
- Guide process improvement efforts by identifying knowledge gaps, propose solutions, and lead development teams as required,
- Advises on knowledge sharing through the organizational business processes and IT systems leveraging modern best practices and culture change goals,
- Provide constant communication between the internal teams and client; operate as the liaison between stakeholders/client and internal leadership to support knowledge base content creation and maintenance,
- Work with multiple commercial and governmental agencies to facilitate/support technical and operational projects in support of digital transformation,
- Leverage working relationships with cross functional teams to collaborate in the development of innovative technical solutions,
- Provides support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting,
- Integrates with the IT services and chief technology teams in an organization to translate core technology, cloud services, and governance requirements to KM functional and tool architecture, and
- Leads the technical champion community in acquiring innovative new technology based on workforce needs, and
- Other duties as assigned.
(Senior-Level) Responsibilities include the above and include:
- Communicate the KM strategy throughout the enterprise using various methods, oversees the delivery of the message down to technical teams, leadership, and content / data stewards,
- Offer expertise in evolving the overall organizational digital transformation and ensures that the KM strategy aligns and matures with the organization,
- KM lead point of contact across the organization in the continued drive in the use of knowledge sharing automation and becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the relevant applications,
- Guide process improvement efforts by identifying knowledge gaps, propose governance solutions, and lead development teams in the automation of the new process,
- Provides technical guidance to the team of developers in refining current tools, implementing new technologies, and executing new initiatives,
- Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting, and
- Manage the KM backlog and agile deliverables each sprint.
Success for working in this position requires:
- Experience with knowledge management systems, processes and procedures,
- Familiarity with developing and delivering knowledge sharing programs within an organization’s information infrastructure,
- Experience with dynamic communication and data management platforms (i.e. SharePoint Online),
- Familiarity with out of the box functionality and associated technologies such as Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI desired,
- Proficiency with M365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and legacy MS Office applications,
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and 508 compliance requirements, and
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- At the mid-level, undergraduate degree and 7 years related or master’s degree and 10 years at the Sr level. Additional years of experience can be substituted for education,
- Experience in data and cloud usage management required,
- Experience in setting organizational data governance from start to finish desired,
- Familiarity with DoD, DoN, or other federal agency digital strategy, IT modernization, or other transformation efforts desired,
- Agile, KM, Information Management certification is a plus, and
- Experience with complex industries leveraging traditional IT processes and on-prem technology a plus.
