Job Description
We are a national legal intake center, collaborating with leading law firms across the country on mass tort cases. Our team manages the intake process for thousands of plaintiffs, ensuring precise and timely data for the law firms representing them. In addition, we handle post-retainer tasks, gathering sensitive information to help strengthen clients' cases. The Account Data Specialist is crucial to ensure the efficient management, integration, and distribution of client profiles and detailed case information.
The Account Data Specialist’s general duties involve regular tasks that are daily, weekly, and monthly as well as on-demand tasks, depending on business needs. Account Data Specialists develop a detailed knowledge of our CRM system to effectively utilize its capabilities to generate reports that are used both internally and externally. Members of the Statistics and Reporting department must be ready to switch between working independently and with others, including interdepartmental collaboration. To succeed as an Account Data Specialist, strong skills with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets functions, statistics, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Organize, prepare, and distribute detailed reports as required by management and law firms.
- Leverage multiple data sources to acquire and maintain up-to-date information for data governance and compliance.
- Reformat, manipulate, and transform data to generate legal documents.
- Generate visualizations for ideal presentation of data, including pivot tables, bar graphs, and pie charts.
- Detect and identify any errors in client accounts.
- Find missing data and delegate items that need to be corrected to the appropriate team.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with internal departments to prepare reports that support ongoing quality management and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external law firm personnel to meet their data needs promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate with other members of the data team and/or other departments to complete multi-stage projects.
- Serve as a liaison between teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Assist in the development and documentation of processes, helping to optimize workflows and infrastructure for incoming cases.
- Create spreadsheets to manage data for users who are not familiar with spreadsheets.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Proficiency with reporting tools and dashboards (Excel, Google Sheets, CRM systems, and Dialers).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- A strong background in mathematics and/or statistics.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio and/or Power BI.
- A basic understanding of SQL for data queries and manipulation.
- Experience managing Monday.com boards to track workflows and project progress.
- The ability to prioritize workload and to work well under pressure and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Creative thinking and willingness to provide input on process improvements.
- The ability to work autonomously and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Intermediate knowledge of statistical methods, formulas, and tests.
- At least two years of experience with data management, manipulation, and visualization.
- At least one year of experience with CRM systems with preference for legal-focused CRMs.
- Experience in legal or related field preferred.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to operate a computer.
- Must be able to clearly communicate concepts orally and in writing.
- This position is in-office at our location in Las Vegas, NV 89118; must be able to adhere to a full time schedule (40 hours/week, 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday)
