Database Analyst Job at Robert Half in Aurora

We are in the manufacturing industry and are currently searching for a Database Analyst to join our team located in Aurora, Illinois. This role involves managing, extracting, and analyzing data from various sources. The Database Analyst will also have the potential responsibility of creating and implementing a new database system if deemed necessary. This is a short term contract employment opportunity, estimated at 2-3+ months. The ideal candidate would be available to go on site in Aurora, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from different sources including Excel, EDI, and SAP platforms.

• Engaging in the creation and implementation of a new database if required by the analysis.

• Working with master data from our major client and ensuring its accuracy and relevance.

• Developing business intelligence solutions and creating dashboards for better data visualization and interpretation.

• Utilizing CRM and DB2 database systems for data management and backup.

• Leveraging Microsoft Excel for data analysis and SAP for efficient data processing.

• Implementing EDI - Electronic Data Interchange for seamless data exchange.

• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all database systems.

• Proficiency in CRM and Database System management.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with DB2 Database and Microsoft technologies.
• Ability to use Backup Technologies for database security and recovery.
• Demonstrated ability in utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools for enhanced data interpretation.
• Experience in creating dashboards for visual data representation and tracking.
• Strong skills in Data Analysis for effective decision-making and strategy development.
• Familiarity with SAP software for smooth database operations.
• Understanding of EDI - Electronic Data Interchange for improved data processing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
