GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Compensation Analyst is an individual contributor supporting our client's Compensation function. The

Analyst conducts job analysis, job evaluation, documentation, participating in compensation surveys, and communicating

internally and externally. The Analyst applies analytical and creative abilities to provide suggestions for resolutions or

improvements to Compensation Administration programs and plans.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Conducts job pricing utilizing compensation best practices and AHS guidelines to formulate recommendations for pay

grade placement.

•Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate exempt or non-exempt assignment in

accordance with federal regulations.

•Conducts audits for the purpose of data clean-up and standardization.

•Assist with reviewing for accuracy and drafting/editing job descriptions.

•Effectively communicates to others as needed, bringing questions of interpretation and escalating issues to lead or

manager as needed.

•Maintains ongoing and up-to-date knowledge of AHS structure/leadership and company-wide policies in all areas and

best practices in other organizations.

•Prepares corporate salary survey participation as directed.

•Assists with annual market adjustment as directed; loads and updates compensation data.

•Assists with analyzing the impact of new programs or changes to programs, preparing reports that indicate differences

and potential impacts including costs, workforce impacts, procedure impacts and communication impacts.

•Serves as an information source regarding pay practices and policies; provides advice to leadership on new or nonroutine compensation decisions for employees, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation.

•Maintains documentation, including electronic, of all activities related to compensation.



KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

•Analytical and attention to detail

•Verbal and written communication

•Organizational skills
