We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in San Jose, California. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A) activities, learning Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) functions and transactions, and performing financial modeling. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A) activities
• Learn and execute Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) functions and transactions
• Perform financial modeling to support decision making
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial insights
• Maintain clear and effective communication across the team
• Support the growth and development of entry level positions
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations.• Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• While no specific years of experience are required, prior experience in a related field could be beneficial.
• Proficiency in Financial Modeling is a must.
• Excellent skills in creating PowerPoint Presentations are crucial.
• Advanced knowledge in spreadsheet software, including pivot tables, vlookups, and macros is required.
• The ability to interpret and analyze financial data for sound business decisions is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential.
• A solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics, and economics is advantageous.
• The ideal applicant would be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
