SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
the grant Analyst will provide assistance with the complete cycle of federal grants management (pre award, award, and post award) for certain organizations that participate in federal grant awards. This could include assist in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating Project Worksheets (PWs) and related requests for reimbursements (RFRs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Advances (RFAs) to ensure scope of work and related documentation is complete and accurate. Assist in project close out reporting. Work could also include consulting services to certain governmental agencies or non profit organizations regarding proper reporting and advisory on best practices regarding internal controls and compliance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review requests for reimbursements or advance of funds.
- Monitor all grant management, grant accounting, and reconciliation.
- Provide recommendation on requests for reimbursement or advance of funds.
- Assess grant management and claims internal controls and procedures for Puerto Rico and subgrantees.
- Provide knowledge and expertise associated with procurement and delivery best practices and lean construction practices.
WORK CONDITIONS
- Involves work in the firm's office or on the client's premises. Work on the client's premises may require the use of the Grants Analyst's personal car.
- Moderate to low overtime required throughout the year. High level of overtime may be required to meet grant deadlines.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Two (2) – four (4) years of related professional experience.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English & Spanish.
- Knowledge of Basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams); Grants Management tools including COR3 Disaster Recovery Solution, FEMA Grants Portal and FEMA Enterprise Identity Management System (EMMIE) highly desirable.
