Volt is immediately hiring a "Seasonal" Data Specialist for immediate hire.
As an Data Specialist you will:
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using Power BI and Excel to provide the management and operations teams with the information required to track efficiency and accuracy of production associates. This associate will communicate with the operations teams on a regular basis.
Job Duties:
The role requires you work 100% onsite at the Ontario facility.

Job Duties:
- Data collection-
- Generate reports
- Create, update, troubleshoot Power BI reports/Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Create and update charts and Graphs in both Power BI and Excel
- Data entry
- Analyze anomalies and errors in reporting data
- Communications -
- Respond to management requests for data and reports
- Email requests for information and data from the management and operations teams
- Distribute reports
- Alert DC Operations team to potential reporting delays
- Other duties as required
- Ad hoc reporting requests
- Other duties as assigned
The role requires you work 100% onsite at the Ontario facility.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2 years of experience in distribution or manufacturing environment preferred
- Able to work independently and as a team member
- Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Power BI skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong Azure knowledge and skills
- Strong Power Automate skills
- Strong Microsoft Outlook and Word programs skills
- Previous Labor Management/Performance Management experience a plus
- Warehouse Management System experience a plus.
- This position may require the associate to work on the production floor, if needed
- Able to walk, stand or sit for extended periods
- Able to bend, stoop, climb stairs and lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
