Volt is immediately hiring a Production Worker/ Forklift Operator in Dunmore, PA.

 

As a Volt Production Worker, you will perform all functions of inspecting, packaging, and preparing products to ship according to customer specifications. You will ensure the quality of the products by enforcing SQF (food safety), GMP (general manufacturing practices), quality policies. safety, and sanitation regulations.  

 

As a Production Worker you will:

• Comply and enforce all company specific quality, safety, SQF, and GM policies and procedures.
• Insect products for quality and foreign objects according to company standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure weight and measure accuracy of products being manufactured.
• Package and safely palletize product by ensuring quality product, weight , accuracy. appropriate labeling, and accurate product content information.
• Assist with changeovers, set up, and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Forklift Operator you will:

• Move materials across the facility, including stacking and organizing them in designated storage areas.
• Safely load and unload goods from trucks or trailers using a forklift, ensuring items are secured and not damaged.
• Assist with tracking and counting inventory, ensuring accuracy in records for stock levels and locations.
• Stack materials efficiently to maximize space and keep the facility organized.
• Keep the forklift and surrounding areas clean, clear of obstacles, and organized.   

 

This is Full Time opportunity

The ideal Production Worker/ Forklift Operator will have:

• High School Graduate or General Equivalency Diploma
• Ability to read, write, interpret and record documents.
• Basic math skills and ability to use scales.
• Forklift Operator experience

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

The pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
