Job Title: Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift & Overnight
Rate: $16/hr to start (bumped $1.50 once hired on).
2nd Shift has 3 Time spreads
3p-11p
5p-3a
7p-5a
5 days a week, Monday - Friday
Shifts are scheduled for 10 hours but not all shifts will always go to the full 10 hours.
Workers get an average of 4-6 hours OT a week

Job Summary:
Client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our 2nd shift/Overnight team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, ensuring efficient movement of materials and products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position plays a key role in supporting production operations by transporting raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials.
- Transport materials to designated production areas as per job requirements.
- Accurately pick and stage materials for production runs, ensuring the correct items and quantities are provided.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storing items in designated locations.
- Inspect forklift and related equipment daily, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in inventory control by conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production schedules and meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift certification (required or willing to obtain certification).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift & Overnight hours
