Job Title: Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift & Overnight

Rate: $16/hr to start (bumped $1.50 once hired on).

2nd Shift has 3 Time spreads

3p-11p

5p-3a

7p-5a

5 days a week, Monday - Friday

Shifts are scheduled for 10 hours but not all shifts will always go to the full 10 hours.

Workers get an average of 4-6 hours OT a week

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our 2nd shift/Overnight team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting, ensuring efficient movement of materials and products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position plays a key role in supporting production operations by transporting raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials.
Transport materials to designated production areas as per job requirements.
Accurately pick and stage materials for production runs, ensuring the correct items and quantities are provided.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storing items in designated locations.
Inspect forklift and related equipment daily, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Assist in inventory control by conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all company safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production schedules and meet delivery deadlines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift certification (required or willing to obtain certification).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work 2nd shift & Overnight hours
