Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipping/Receiving Forklift Driver in Visalia, Ca.

As a Forklift Driver you will:

• The Shipping/Receiving Employee is responsible for pulling orders of product from bays (within the warehouse area) and load the product into trucks to being shipped to the customer. The employee will also unload product from trucks to be stored in bays within the warehouse area. This is to be done with the use of an industrial powered truck such as a forklift and box clamp lift.
• All incoming and outgoing product is verified by the Shipping/Receiving Employee for accuracy. The product will be stenciled for identification of customers to prevent product from being lost in other freight terminals.
• The Shipping/Receiving Employee is also responsible for verifying bay accuracy of product and matching with the inventory control system.
• Visually inspect the forklift or clamp truck at the beginning of shift to ensure all safety devices such as brakes, mirrors and horns are in proper working order.
• Log in to the R/F inventory control system to use in scanning product when pulling or putting away orders. The employee will store product physically as well as in the inventory control system.
• When pulling orders, the employee will retrieve the product from warehouse bays and transfer the product to a staging area to be double counted, checked for mixed product and prepared for shipment. After the product is verified, it is physically loaded into the appropriate trailer for shipment. The paperwork is then turned into the shipping clerk to enter the information for a bill of lading for the driver. Attach seal to shipments as needed.

Salary: $17.00-17.40/HR
