Job Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Security Architect V based in Washington DC (remote but local). The role is primarily focused on the integration of security architecture engineering efforts into the information technology lifecycle. The Security Architect V will be responsible for architecting, engineering, implementing, integrating, maintaining, and improving systems to meet particular needs with regard to building software/hardware components and supporting technical infrastructure.

Job Description:
The Chief Technical Engineer (CTE) is primarily charged with overseeing the development and enhancement of various technological solutions such as M365, ICAM, and forthcoming cloud services. The role requires forward-thinking strategies to ensure the governance and safety compliance of information management, while fostering innovation and knowledge throughout the supported services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and establish the integration of Microsoft 365 subscriptions, ICAM solutions, and approved cloud services.
- Implement M-22-09 compliant Zero Trust security in line with authorized SP800-53Rev5 practices.
- Direct all planning and design projects and proactively adapt to changes in business, security, and governance requirements.
- Oversee governance and compliance activities to effectively and securely manage customer data, encompassing Microsoft 365 information governance, records management, and data connectors.
- Oversee and manage data security procedures related to privacy breaches, forensics, eDiscovery, and audits.
- Establish and maintain a customer feedback mechanism to adjust services accordingly.
- Ensure effective management of enterprise devices throughout the organization, complying with Zero Trust security principles.
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical roles, with significant experience in client communications and customer-centric solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft platforms, including M365 (Exchange Online, Endpoint Manager, Configuration Manager, Intune, Purview, Autopilot, Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Platform).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to technology changes.
- Experience working with government technical counterparts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert level certifications in Microsoft 365.
- Certifications like ICAM/Okta, ServiceNow ITOM, ITIL, CISSP, or Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS).
- Experience with Zero Trust security frameworks.
- Demonstrated leadership in creating a learning culture and encouraging innovation.
- A proven problem-solver with experience in implementing technology deployment strategies, including automation and Generative AI, or copilot solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.
