Personnel Security Specialist - Mid-Level
This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Mid-Level Personnel Security Specialist to support and enhance personnel security administration with a focus on SCI access management and special security directives. This role requires expertise in security processes and the ability to provide strong customer service, while maintaining strict compliance with security regulations, policies, and protocols.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Personnel Security Specialist - Mid-Level: $100,000 to $120,000
Pay commensurate with experience.

Personnel Security Specialist - Mid-Level Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Provide advanced personnel security administration support, ensuring adherence to all relevant manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and oversee SCI access procedures, including E-QIP and JPAS, ensuring accurate and timely processing of security access requests.
- Administer and maintain strict control and accountability of SCI materials, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Apply integrated security services across Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations, SCI Physical Security, TEMPEST, and Industrial Security.
- Utilize comprehensive understanding of all special security Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) to maintain security standards.
- Provide training to individuals and groups on personnel security requirements, promoting a culture of compliance and awareness.
- Serve as a point of contact for security-related inquiries, delivering high-quality customer service and guidance on personnel security matters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree desired.
- Four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in personnel security, including:
- In-depth knowledge of special security ICDs, SCI access procedures, and HSPD-12.
- Familiarity with personnel security applications such as E-QIP and JPAS.
- Experience supporting SSO and SCIF operations, SCI Physical Security, TEMPEST, and Industrial Security protocols.
- Exceptional customer service, strong communication abilities for training and guidance, and thorough knowledge of security access management tools and applications.
- Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
